Oh Super Junior! That's one of the more popular bands here. Well for Singapore its usually a mix of the culture. There are lovers of both western and asian culture, but I have the nagging feeling that currently in my country, the korean band culture is just sweeping the youths of the nation I don't get it ;; There are also quite a few anime lovers too. Anyway, anime isn't as popular here sadly. Korean bands with their hot guys and pretty girls are what most people fangirl/boy about I guess. Cpop bands have been getting the cold shoulder as of late. Since I'm not into the band scene but I know people like DBSK and Girls Generation, that pretty much shows how much my friends go on about it.

But Taylor Swift is/was popular here too, at least amongst the people around me. Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga are intensely popular here I think C: I feel like it varies, but korean pop culture may be winning by that slight margin? Majority of the females here watch them, whereas for the boys, I don't know, my guy friends are so odd, some like western classical, some like rock, some listen to the things the girl they like likes (lol). But a lot of them like Taylor Swift :D
