This is fantastic! I didn't know what to expect when you told me about the idol!AU, and it turned out gorgeous. Your description of Hikari's lifestyle is amazing and spot-on, and you were particularly great handling her emotions. The little phrases like 'Hikari tries not to be hurt that Jun doesn't even call to say goodbye.' really pack a punch, and I like the premise behind Hikari's decision to become an Idol. I honestly wasn't expecting Jun to turn up for the concert, and when he did it was so sweet and I just knew that it would be a nice resolution from then on (: Of course, I felt that the two of them sorted out their misunderstandings... really fast. Especially despite the fact that Jun had been really avoiding her for so long, and Hikari was significantly hurt because of it. The reason that he was chasing after her meant that he liked her too yeah? I felt that Jun could have demonstrated that point better with his daily exchanges with Hikari, but he never did, and that was sad. Still, I like the whole thing haha :D Just two minor mistakes I saw:
'But perhaps unlike most girls her age, she has never fixated on it': 'was never fixated on it'?
'Still, she smiles and waves, all pink and white and frills and lace, because it's her job - she knows that people aren't pay to see her mope.': 'don't pay to see her mope'?
