Oh this was so haunting. Especially how you continually started with the same line, Leaf is leaving Pallet Town tomorrow.

Very tragic but I loved it a lot, and I think it's a good angle on why you don't see Leaf in the game (if you choose Red). She's just forever locked up in Pallet Town.

I especially found it sad how she didn't recognise her own Bulbasaur, and then when she looked in the mirror and thought how she looked like herself and still also not... it was only then that I realised how much time had passed in the story. Green being the Gym Leader of Viridian is also a cue, of course.

In short, great idea and great story and I'll never think light of Pidgey again.
